Arrow Hwy, Glendora

We make cars go straight.

Alignment, balancing and frame work, done on open drive-on racks under the old canopy on Arrow Hwy. It is where a lot of Southern California takes a classic when nobody else will put it on a rack.

The station

A booth in the middle, racks all the way around it.

Most alignment work happens in a closed box with a roller door. Ours happens outdoors, under a cantilevered canopy, on drive-on racks that radiate out from a little octagonal control booth with the shop name painted in an arch across the front of it.

It was built to do this one job properly, and it still does. On a clear morning you can see snow on the San Gabriels from the rack.

What we do

Four things, done properly.

This is not a general garage and it does not pretend to be. If your car pulls, shakes, wanders, or clunks when you turn, that is our work.

01

Wheel alignment

Front end and four wheel. The job is finished when the car tracks straight with your hands off the wheel and the steering wheel sits level when you look at it.

02

Wheel balancing

The other half of why a car shakes at speed or chews through a set of tires unevenly.

03

Frame work

It is the first word in the name. The station was purpose built for it, with drive-on racks laid out around a central booth.

04

Front end and suspension

Reviewers describe CV axles, wheel hubs and bearings, and loose front end bolts found and tightened. If the noise happens when you turn, this is the place to start.

One customer brought in a 2002 Grand Prix with an odd noise. The fix was tightening some bolts, and he was not charged for it. His words, in his review below.

Classics

Bring the old car. Call first so Gary is on.

Plenty of shops will not put a fifty year old car on a modern rack. This one will, and the people who own those cars know it. Pull in on a good day and there is usually something worth looking at already up on the racks.

One thing worth knowing before you drive over: call ahead if you are bringing a classic, so the right person is there when you arrive.

The only place that will allow to do the front end alignment on my 1956 Pontiac. It's always on point and they do a great job. You know that you're in a great spot that when you pull up for service that you see a bunch of other classic cars. You almost feel like it's a car meet because guys who know who are there to get their cars done. They even pointed out to me things that they didn't need to to help me to make sure I drove home safe.

My old 1964 Ford f100 truck was making so many clunking noises when I turn that I thought one day I'd turn and it would just keep going straight. So glad I found this place. Gary is the best. So professional and has been in the business for several decades. My truck does not make that clunk anymore, tracks straight when you take your hands off the wheel, and the steering wheel is perfectly even when you look at it.

I went in for my 2008 ford Edge for swapping out passenger side cv axle, brand new that I got from oreilys and they only charged for labor. Best price within the area, they also installed a new wheel hub and bearing on my passenger side. I spoke with Chris he's Awesome i will definitely go back there.
